The Ephraim City Council has approved a $1.13-million contract with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) to widen a portion of 300 East where children walk to Ephraim Elementary School and to install curb, gutter and sidewalk along the street.
The council also gave final approval to a new subdivision in the southeast part of town but left plans for installing curb, gutter and sidewalk along part of the block serving the subdivision up in the air. Sanpete Messenger
