Local firm apparent low bidder on $8.7M project in Gunnison
While all the details aren’t sewed up yet, a Mt. Pleasant contractor appears to be the low bidder for the lion’s share of Gunnison City’s $8.7 million water project. JCI Inc., submitted a bid of just under $7 million for a water treatment plant, water tank, replacing up to three-fourths of water mains and lines, replacing nearly all water meters and replacing about half of the fire hydrants in the city. The balance of the project is drilling a new water well between Gunnison and Fayette. Sanpete Messenger
