Two major store rebuilds are underway on Main Street, with construction of a third new business structure scheduled to begin next month and a fourth major project still in the talking stage. Three rental housing projects are also in process. Work is getting started on two of them, while a third is moving through city approval channels. Included in the ongoing and possible construction projects are Maverik and Sinclair convenience stores, Malena’s restaurant, and a possible remodel of McDonald’s.
Significant single-family housing development is also underway or on the drawing boards, including two subdivisions. And about 15 homes are under construction on already developed lots. Sanpete Messenger
