The community celebrated with Sevier Valley Medical Center as the hospital hosted the grand opening of its newly completed outpatient services wing in Richfield Jan. 8. The new hospital wing houses seven family practice physician offices, a retail pharmacy, specialists, respiratory and infusion therapy, X-ray services, medical records and the administrative and business offices.
Even with the completion of the 38,000 square-foot facility, which took nearly 18 months to build, the hospital is not finished growing. New waiting and registration areas for surgical services, as well as additional space for staff support, are also in the works. Surgical services will also be expanding with the addition of a new operation room suite and additional support space for surgical services. Richfield Reaper
