Ephraim sets off on $1.2-million water-improvement project
The Ephraim City Council has approved the sale of a $1.2-million bond for water-system improvements. The bond sale is the first in a series that could total up to $3 million. The first part of that project is to install a new water line underneath the east portion of Center Street, adjacent to Snow College, which is being resurfaced in late spring. The bond will also cover another portion of the overall project: purchase of additional water rights. The third part of the project would be digging a new water well. Sanpete Messenger
