Sanpete Valley Hospital upgrades surgical unit

Community members got a sneak peak at the Sanpete Valley Hospital’s new $4.5 million surgical center. The facility, located in a new 8,500-square wing, contains three surgery preparation bays, three recovery bays and three operating rooms. The facility is in the final stages of construction and doctors will start doing surgeries in the new facility in the next few weeks. The entrance to the new wing will open in early May.
