Rocky Mountain Power ready to build Sigurd to Red Butte transmission line
Rocky Mountain Power’s Sigurd to Red Butte transmission line is making progress. The construction phase of the project should begin in May. The 170-mile transmission line will run 345 kilovolts, which can provide enough juice for 584,000 homes. Mesa, Ariz., based EC Source Services will serve as the contractor for the project. The complete build out on the line is scheduled to take approximately two years. Richfield Reaper
