New county-level population estimates for 2011 are now available from the U.S. Census Bureau. If you need to update your data series, I've also posted the revised intercensal population estimates for counties in central Utah. You can download the data by clicking on the table and then selecting the center icon at the bottom of the visualization.
According to the Census Bureau estimates both Wayne and Piute counties showed contracting population during 2011. The three expanding counties all showed population growth of less than 1 percent. (The state population grew at a rate of 1.5 percent) Millard County proved the fastest-growing county in central Utah with a population growth rate of 0.8 percent.
