Richfield City's newest road reconstruction project is under way. The $860,000 project will reconstruct 300 North from Main Street to 300 West, including drainage structures. “The city has already done the water and sewer utilities,” said Mike Langston, city administrator. He said the project is set to fix some storm drainage issues found on the street.
The project started July 26, and is tentatively slated to be completed in late September. In the meantime, much of the street will be closed to through traffic as crews are rebuilding the road, curbs and sidewalks.
