Fountain Green Awards Water System Contract

Fountain Green City Council has awarded a $2 million contract to upgrade the city’s water system. The job was awarded to HDX LC of Orem, whose bid of $1,920,763 was about $400,000 below the engineer’s estimate. The project includes a new 1 million-gallon water tank; a chlorination building; 37,000 feet of pipe; about 40 fire hydrants; and 400 water meters. Sanpete County Messenger
