Sevier Valley Medical Center Expansion

An $18 million expansion of Intermountain Healthcare’s Sevier Valley Medical Center took two key steps forward last week. First, the formal groundbreaking ceremony was hosted for expansion on the west lawn of SVMC’s campus. The addition to SVMC is designed to take the place of the current building’s west wing. With two stories, it would add approximately 40,000 square feet to the existing facility. Currently, the building has some 43,000 square feet. The second step forward was the completion of a new clinic built in preparation for the hospital remodel, which has begun receiving patients.
