IFA Country Store to expand in Richfield

When the Lin’s grocery store was folded into Fresh Market in November, it meant some jobs were going to be lost.

Since that time, Richfield City has been working to find something to fill the empty space on Main Street left by Lin’s. Representatives from IFA Country Store and Richfield City announced that the empty spot will be filled by an expansion of IFA.
Richfield City is set to contribute $3,500 to help with the expansion and relocation as an incentive. It will be the first of a business incentive program the city is preparing to adopt for 2011. The store will feature an expansion of IFA’s retail business, said Todd Tolbert, store manager. He said plans call for the expanded store to hire between 20 and 40 people. Richfield Reaper
