Unemployment rates in Central Utah range from 6.6 percent to 9.7 percent

The Utah Department of Workforce Services recently released county-level preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rates for September. Millard and Piute County showed jobless rates below both state and national rates. On the other hand, the Sanpete and Wayne figures registered noticeably above the state rate and neck-and-neck with the national average. Sevier County plowed the middle ground landing between the state and national rates. To access all county unemployment rates go to http://jobs.utah.gov/wi/pubs/une/season.pdf
